• Trim 2-3 cm off each stem at an angle and stand in clean, fresh water on arrival.
• Mist the hydrangea head lightly — hydrangeas drink through their petals and wilt in dry heat; keep it away from AC vents.
• Keep the whole bouquet out of direct sun and away from ripening fruit.
• Calla lily stems are soft — top up water little and often rather than crowding them; refresh the water every 2 days.
• The dried eucalyptus and pink fern are long-lasting — keep them dry and they can be reused after the fresh stems fade.
